National University of Juridical Sciences is proud to present Diploma in Entrepreneurship Administration and Business Laws, a course which has so far benefited business professionals, bureaucrats, entrepreneurs and lawyers from all over the world. Our vision is that this course will make practical knowledge of business laws accessible to the industry leaders of the future, and provide a suit of skills designed for success in the real world. Delivering an effective distance learning course is always a challenge, but this issue has been addressed by deploying cutting edge technology – students will not merely be given a few modules and then asked to write a test. A cutting edge online learning management system will help the students to learn actively on the go.
A 12-month long immersive program designed to equip you with practical skills for the world of corporate law. Since its inception in 2012, the NUJS Business Laws Diploma has graduated over 1000 students, and is now entering its 8th batch. The course brings over 50 leading lawyers from the corporate law sector to train our students in the practical aspects of business law. With a resource library of over 100 lectures, focused skill-development exercises, and institutionalized mentorship, the course brings learning and career opportunities for students.
This course is co-created, reviewed and constantly improved by an industry-academia panel. The Panel includes celebrity litigators, law firm partners, investors, bankers and other top professionals with decades of practical experience. The goal of the panel is to effectively transfer knowledge to the academia through this course.
Over time, the focus of the course has become creation of business leaders with a legal and regulatory acumen and training. This course is for decision makers of the future, who will build industries, corporates, law firms, service businesses and consultancy practices of the future. Through this course, we aim to build a new economic future for this country, which will be driven by entrepreneurship.
In India, most educational initiatives are plagued by lack of practical exposure. This course is not taught by academicians but practitioners, professionals and business leaders only. The course is full of case studies and practical insights. You would be constantly presented with opportunities to apply your knowledge in real life projects, and even pushed towards creating your own opportunities.
If you are a business leader of the future, chances are high that you are very busy. Hence, to master this course you need not attend any classes. Just commit 3 to 4 hours of your time every week. What is best, is that you can study on the go on your smartphone. Just download our app on a smartphone, and read the next chapter during a flight, watch a video on your way to work even as you are stuck in a jam, or take a self-assessment test as you are waiting for your next meeting.

I am a computer science engineer by education, but an entrepreneur by profession. Having had no formal education in running a business I was always led to a lot of “learning the hard way”. When iPleaders launched the course for Entrepreneurship Administration and Business Laws, in an e-learning mode I took up the course with the objective to understand all legal nuances related to running a business. The course covered things like; understanding of ESOP, Sweat Equity, Company Policy, License agreements, IP related law, EULA and lots of other content which made sense for our business.

I am a practicing Cyber lawyer in Mumbai for the past 3 years and have founded Cyberjure Legal Consulting. The course was a very good learning experience, and I am glad I did it. It helped me understand the nuances of many laws which we studied in college, but never went into practical applicability of the same. The stuff I learnt in the course helped me in my matters too, and in structuring e-commerce start-ups.

You must have heard of “coursera” or “edX” or “Udacity” or a similar website. These websites are the pioneers in the field of massive open online courses. A massive open online course is an online course available to a large number of people, free of cost. These courses are available in almost every field like engineering, law, music, medical etc.
You must have heard us going on and on about online education in this blog. It makes knowledge more accessible, learning easier, and allows even busy professionals to continue college education in areas of their choice. It is much cheaper than traditional education, sometimes even free. It is often hailed as the future of education, though it is yet to be widely adopted.
What we have here is an impeccably polished social theory, though this can perhaps never be justified owing to the impossibility of collecting empirical evidence in support of this. It all started in 1943 when Abraham Maslow forwarded a certain idea in his “Theory of Human Motivation”.
When we saw several government officers taking up the NUJS business law diploma course which was intended at entrepreneurs and managers, we were quite stunned. Naturally, we tried to analyse their career goals and professional objectives. Why would they want to learn business laws?
